It took the team time to get used to playing on a vicious slope. After twenty minutes Herbie settled the nerves with a twenty yard rocket, top right corner one-nil. Just before the half some great work down the left by Rafael and an unselfish layoff to Izzy two-nil.

Izzy and Raf combined down the right to set Charlie up three-nil. Then alert to a quick corner Harrison to Izzy to Herbie four-nil. James, Bodie, Hugo, Herbie with Alfie in goal were excellent in defence but with ten minutes left the clean sheet was spoiled, what we saw as a perfect last ditch tackle was judged to be a foul and they scored from the resulting penalty. Izzy bagged her second with the last kick of the match.

Not our best performance but we’re getting there. That makes seven from seven. Twenty-one points and top of the league.
