The 3s continue their challenge for the league title by winning a had fought and well-deserved victory against a competitive opponent. Started brightly in the first ten to fifteen minutes, playing the ball forward and being as direct as possible using the wings. First goal came from a corner, landed in the box and a shot from Torpey was blocked on the line and cleared to Wisbey on the edge of the box who clipped the ball back into a dangerous area which ended up lobbing the keeper.

We continued to push but took our foot off the gas a little and ended up with some pressure which ended up giving a foul away on the edge of our box. A very good free kick scored by the oppo put us at 1-1. The game continued to open up but was Torpey that picked up the ball, drove forwards and play a direct ball to AK who was through on goal and lobbed the keeper on the edge of the box. Moments later we conceded a penalty but Mason produced two fantastic saves to keep it at 2-1. The original penalty save and then the rebound.

The final goal came from a comical error from the oppo keeper, who tried to take a goal kick quickly but hit the back of his centre back and the ball fell kindly to Kizza scored by putting the ball through the legs of centre back and keeper. A good day at the office!
