A hard earned but well deserved result for Titans this morning at Ashcombe making it three wins on the bounce. Titans played the better football, trying to pass the ball on a muddy pitch against a big, physical team. Our high pressing meant we played most of the game in the opposition half with Joe and Kit going close. Callum put us one nil up after finishing off a through ball from Rufus just before the break.

Second half followed the same pattern. When BB Soccer did manage to break out, the recovery pace of Archie and Joe along with Toby’s dependable defending kept them at bay. Noah S was excellent in goal, keeping his concentration and was calm. He didn’t have lots to do but was safe and assured at all times. With only a one goal lead the game was tight. Then excellent work from Kit and Monty down the right set up Callum for his second goal of the game shortly before the final whistle.
