Dynamites Explosive Second Half Come Back, As Rockets shot down with Flames!

Dorkinian U13 Dynamite 5 v 2 Cranleigh U13 Dons
Westhumble, 25/01/2025

Amazing second half performance after going in one-nil down against our top of the table rivals. Everyone was superb in the second half. Honourable mention to Ethan for another brilliant free kick that got the ball rolling. Also, to Huxley for another goal against Cranleigh (that is six goals in three for him) and a great game from Leo. The Player of the Match went to Henry who set the press, forced loads of turnovers and ran himself into the ground.

Dorkinian U13 Rockets 0 v 5 Dorking Cobras U13 Yellows
Priory, 25/01/2025

A harsh result on Rockets but reflective that we were missing key players. Defensive errors and some wasteful opportunities up front added to what was otherwise a good match up between teams wanting to play the ball on a poor Priory pitch. Credit to Kira who let nothing through on the left and praise from the opposition for Josh in goal.

However Player of the Match was Anthony who was a bundle of energy and positive in his play throughout. Again, commended by the opposition. We will be back and in the goals next week at Cranleigh!

Dorkinian U13 Flames 0 v 3 Stoneleigh Athletic U13 Vipers
Westhumble, 25/01/2025

A very tough game against a team we have beaten twice already this season. Unfortunately, the first half we didn't look out usual selves and Vipers wanted it more than us and we went in at half time 2-0 down.

After a team talk akin to a battle cry we looked so much better with pressure on the ball, some lovely attacking play and much more possession but couldn't get a goal back. The Player of the Match Finn S who covered most of our own half in defence and made some great 1v1 challenges.
