Rockets revival continues with a fantastic team performance against a strong Farncombe team who were on a similar winning streak. Sammy opened scoring with a through ball from Eddie. Sammy doubled his tally with an assist from Finn. Artie hit a screamer (first for the club) with Anthony assisting. At three-nil Farncombe responded quickly to bring it to three-two at the break and potentially a tight game.

We re-set formation at half time and this proved decisive as we were much the better team after the break. Joe took a well taken goal with Sammy assisting. Jack then made things comfortable again with a well taken goal with Artie assisting.

The whole team were brilliant today and it was hard to pick out individual players out. However, special mentions should go to Molly who had to play left midfield and was so solid and always a threat with her throw ins. Eddie had to shuffle back to defence and was so strong. Anthony with his flicks and tricks was a menace throughout and deserved something for an excellent bicycle kick attempt. Jack typified the game today. Strong, non-stop and always driving forward. On any other week he would be clear Player of the Match.

However as this was his best game ever in the yellow and green, Player of the Match goes to Sammy. That was a superb individual performance. Thrilled for him! A great way to start the weekend. Well done Rockets!
