Despite players with jet lag the team put a solid performance throughout and the win was never in doubt against a team we had lost earlier in the season. John will be surprised by Ewhurst comments that we looked a much better team full of confidence and desire.

Much credit should go to the travelling Flames who joined us today with Isla, Finn S, Logan and Farley showing us what they could do. Credit also to Kira (solid as ever) and Josh and Harvey who shone in unusual positions. Player of the Match for Flames was Logan. Excellent positioning and tackling. Great defensive work. Player of the Match for Rockets was Josh. Outstanding in midfield and worked so hard throughout the game. Great vision in his passing.

First goal by Monty, assisted by Joe with a wonderful through ball. The second also by Monty but assisted by Farley. Those two are like two Chris Woods up front!
