With Loxwood back to full strength this was always be a tough game against a team that had beaten Dynamite earlier in the season and are a class apart at Division 2 level.

We got off to a flying start with a long ball from Josh for Monty to pounce on to score. I think that one surprised all that were there! For much of the first half we were much the better team and a bit of sloppiness on our part allowed them a goal just before half time. That was a shame as we worked hard as a unit and Loxwood were finding it hard to break us down. At the same time we looked dangerous on the counter.

Second half was more evenly matched with chances for all. In the end it was a case of Loxwood taking chances and the post/ crossbar saving Loxwood. Highlight for me today was the return of Roddy who was energetic and a constant threat. Likewise Joe, Monty and Sammy who were always lively and a threat. Josh as ever was a rock in goal.

However the Player of the Match goes to someone who took on board a bit of coaching advice on the side, came on as sub with positivity and desire to show us what he can do. Well done Jack!
