A well-deserved return to winning ways for Rockets. A great collective effort on a dry pitch which supports our naturally attacking play. A good early start with back-to-back goals from Monty (great assist Artie) and Roddy back in the goals with through ball from Finn.

A screamer from Vipers meant the score line gave the appearance of a tight match but we were the better team throughout with a hatful of shots on goal or against the post. Josh made his customary worldie save to keep Vipers out. Towards the end, the ref found some injury time which seemed to make the second half endless, Vipers pushed hard but we always looked threatening.

A great effort all round and big thank you to our travelling support. I know it’s an annoying but joint POTM to Finn and Artie (his first for Dorkinian). Always a threat from midfield and tireless throughout!
