In a top of the table clash in Cobham last Saturday as an unbeaten Oxshott Royals hosted a Titans team high on confidence after our recent run of four wins and a draw from the last five games. Oxshott came flying out of the blocks and went one-nil up with a well taken goal from a corner after only three minutes. Titans were under pressure - but three excellent saves from Noah and epic last ditch tackling from Joe and Kit kept them at bay.

Spurred on by our battling defence we grew into the game and deservedly equalised with Callum slotting home after Rufus’ through ball. It wasn’t long before Titans went two one up with Callum scoring after great work by Monty and Charlie. Ten minutes before half-time Titans made it three-one with Callum claiming his hat trick, beating two players and finishing well from a tight angle.

The team spoke at the break about staying humble and the second half became a real battle. Our players stood up to some very robust challenges, keeping their heads and composure to see out the second half running out deserved winners. A huge effort from all eleven players - with a massive performance from our excellent Goalkeeper Noah, but player of the match goes to Callum for his match winning first half hat trick.
