Andy confessed to a sleepless night, as it was bound to be a tough one against 3rd placed Earlswood. A lack of focus in the warm-up had us worried but the moment they took to the pitch the team were on fire. Raf latched onto 2 lovely assists from Zach to put us 2-0 up before 15 minutes. They then had their strongest period of the match and forced Alfie into two good rushes where his speed and presence snuffed out the danger. On 25 minutes, Herbie took the ball in midfield sharp run, through to Harrison who placed it beautifully bottom right corner.

2nd half was a masterclass - Hugo, Aidan, Bodie and Herbie were rocks at the back allowing the forward players the freedom to attack. Charlie and Raf combined for the third. Izzy’s corner was not cleared and Zach pounced. Charlie who’d been frustrated all game then took on a lovely flick on from Max to make a very comprehensive 6-0.

One match to go and with the trophy secure can a clean sweep of 14 victories be achieved.
