The visitors started quickly, taking the lead when Goddard caused chaos in the box following a well-worked delivery from Oli Scov. Sinjuns responded immediately, levelling the score at 1-1 from an unchallenged corner. Just five minutes later, a swift counter-attack put Sinjuns ahead 2-1.

Before the break, Dorkinian levelled when Teague’s shot was parried, and Goddard was quick to pounce on the rebound, finishing neatly for his second goal—and his 100th for the club—making it 2-2 at halftime.

The second half saw a heroic performance from Dorkinians' goalkeeper, Shippy, who made a series of key saves, earning Man of the Match honours. However, despite dominating possession, Dorkinian were undone by a second-half penalty, which gave Sinjuns a 3-2 lead. Dorkinian continued to press, but a strong defensive block from the home side kept them at bay.

The match ended 3-2 in favour of Sinjuns, with both teams now level on points in the Senior South Division 1.
